To Send e-mail to the Fred Fund ® info@thefredfund.org

We welcome e-mails from people seeking information about upcoming Taos Suicide Prevention Coalition meetings as well as The Fred Fund's ® Donor Advised Fund, through the Santa Fe Community Foundation. However, The Fred Fund ® does not provide counseling or advice in any format including e-mail. We do not respond to e-mail messages that seek help or advice concerning a person, including you, who might be suicidal, depressed, or otherwise in crisis. It is not that we do not care, but we are not qualified to respond. We cannot and will not refer or forward your message to anyone outside our organization. If you feel suicidal, or have a family member or friend who is in crisis, or want to talk to someone right away, DO NOT e-mail us. Instead, we suggest that you take one or more of the following actions: Call 911 or your local police emergency number, call your doctor or a family member or friend, go visit a medical treatment center, find an interventionist, or visit with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) - get help as soon as possible. If you are near someone who is suicidal or is exhibiting warning signs, seek immediate professional or emergency assistance.
